Nor-Son Receives STEP Platinum Award from Associated Builders and Contractors

Nor-Son, Inc. received the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Platinum Award from  Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).  Donny Hines, Safety Director for Nor-Son accepted the award on May 27th at the Quarterly ABC Safety Committee Meeting.  STEP provides a method for evaluating safety programs and helps identify areas that need improvement.  The program is designed to publicly recognize companies at a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze level for their achievement in meeting critical requirements to help decrease serious injuries, illnesses, and fatalities and continuously improve safety and health programs.  Judging is done at a national level and companies are evaluated closely on several key elements directly related to their safety performance.  Nor-Son has a proven track record for outstanding safety in the workplace and continuously strives to achieve quality in all aspects of their business.

With this recent award, they are an eighteen-time winner of the STEP Award having received eight Awards at the Platinum level, seven Gold and three Silver
