LEED Accredited Professionals demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Green Building and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System

Nor-Son, Inc. announces newly designated credentials for 13 of its design and construction professionals bringing its total to 16 LEED APs. The following Nor-Son employees join architect Jesse Hopkins, and project managers Ben Meland and Jeremy Cossitt, as LEED Accredited Professionals at Nor-Son, Inc.: Amy Dirkes, Erin Holthusen, Richard Bell, Chris Roeder, Jeremy Bjorge, Jim Larson, Chad Kinate, Dave Linder, Kevin Littman, Rene Philippot, Nicole Weum, Damien Williams and Darin Dirkes.
LEED Professional Accreditation recognizes professionals who have acquired a thorough understanding of green building practices, principles and the LEED Rating System, and have demonstrated the ability to successfully steward the LEED certification process for green building projects.

The LEED Rating System supports global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria. A LEED AP is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the design process, support & encourage integrated design and streamline the LEED application and certification process.
LEED AP accreditation is awarded through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC); the USGBC is the national consensus for producing a new generation of buildings that deliver high performance inside and out. The USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED Green Building Rating System.
