Coal Country Inn

A new vision for an existing structure. Intended for the North Dakota energy plant workers, Nor-Son designed and renovated this 1950s-era school building into a 91-room, 160- bed hotel.

Far exceeding goals and expectations. The first phase goal of completing 100 beds for guest occupancy in just five months required design and construction creativity, collaboration and constant communication. The team met and exceeded the goal by also completing much of Phase II for a total of 136 beds, a new gathering space, and a dining area in time for the first Coal Country Inn guests to enjoy.

Nor-Son’s architectural, management and field staff have performed well above expectations on the aggressive Coal Country Inn project.
